Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective date: November 2, 2026

Our position on selling personal information

CC California Cash, operated by Otane, Inc. ("California Cash," "we," "us"), does not sell your personal information for money, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page explains the privacy rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Our full Privacy Policy describes our practices in more detail.

Financial data is largely exempt

The CCPA does not apply to personal information that we collect, process, sell or disclose under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Most information connected to a payday loan request or loan, such as identity, income and credit data, falls under GLBA and is protected as described in our Privacy Policy. The rights below apply to personal information that is not covered by GLBA, such as some website visit data and general inquiries. California residents may also have rights under the California Financial Information Privacy Act.

Your California rights

  • Know and access: ask what personal information we collected, used and disclosed, and receive a copy.
  • Delete: ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep by law).
  • Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing: because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask.
  • Limit sensitive information: we use sensitive personal information only as needed to provide the service and comply with law.
  • No discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices or give a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

Residents of other states

Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. You may still contact us with any privacy question, and we will respond as the law provides.

How to submit a request

Because we do not publish an email address, requests are made by phone or in person. Call (310) 787-7587 or visit our store at 1223 W Carson Street, Torrance, and tell us you want to make a privacy request.

How we verify you

To protect your information, we will ask for details that match what we have on file, such as your name, address and phone number, and may ask for identification in person. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission, and we may confirm it with you directly. We will confirm receipt and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time.

At California Cash we are licensed under the State of California to provide payday loans at a regulated rate. Our fees follow California law and are disclosed in writing before you sign.

Licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation pursuant to the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law.

Important information. CC California Cash is operated by Otane, Inc. and is licensed by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) pursuant to the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law. A California payday loan (deferred deposit transaction) is limited to a $300 check; the fee may not exceed 15% of the check ($45), so the most you can receive is $255. Example: a $255 advance with a $45 fee repaid in 14 days has an APR of 460.16%; the APR is higher for shorter terms and lower for longer terms. Payday loans are meant for short-term emergency needs, not long-term financial solutions. There are no rollovers or extensions, and you cannot be prosecuted for a returned check. Requests made online through our website form may be reviewed by lenders in a third-party network that set their own terms; approval is not guaranteed and lenders may verify your information and check your credit. To check a license or file a complaint, contact the DFPI at 1-866-275-2677.
