Terms and Conditions

Effective date: November 2, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.torrancepaydayloan.com (the "Site"), which is CC California Cash, operated by Otane, Inc. ("California Cash," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; the updated version applies from the effective date shown at the top of the page.

What the Site is for

The Site provides information about the services we offer at our store in Torrance, California: payday loans (called deferred deposit transactions under California law), check cashing, money orders, MoneyGram transfers, bill payment, DMV registration services, cell phone cards and mailbox rental. It also lets you contact us or start an online request. Payday loans are completed in person at our Torrance store. Nothing on the Site is an offer of credit, a commitment to lend, or legal, tax or financial advice. Only a written agreement that you sign is a binding credit contract.

Eligibility

To request a payday loan you must be able to enter into a binding contract and provide truthful, complete and current information.

Payday loans and approval

  • We offer payday loans up to $255 against a $300 check. Under California law, the check may be for no more than $300 and the fee may be no more than 15% of the check ($45).
  • Approval is not assured. We review your request and may verify the information you provide and check your credit before making a decision.
  • Your exact amount, check date, payment schedule and cost are stated in the written agreement and disclosures you receive before you sign.

Accuracy of the information you give us

You agree that everything you submit through the Site, by phone or in person is accurate and yours to provide. Giving false information may lead us to decline or cancel an application and may have legal consequences. We may verify your identity before any loan is made.

Credit and verification

By applying you authorize us to verify the information you provide, which may include checking your identity and obtaining consumer reports from credit reporting agencies. If we decline an application based on a consumer report, we will send the notice required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.

Fees, charges and payments

Any fees or charges are disclosed in your written agreement and are limited by California law. Under the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law, the lender may hold the check for up to 31 days; a new loan may not be made to pay off an existing loan, and rollovers are not allowed; one returned-check fee of no more than $15 may be charged; and a returned check is not grounds for criminal prosecution. Deferred deposit transactions are licensed and supervised by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Please read the agreement before signing and ask us about anything that is unclear. The Site does not list every fee because fees depend on the amount you borrow and the agreement you sign. See our Legal and Licensing page for more information.

Communications

We may contact you about your request or payday loan by phone, mail or, where you have agreed, by text message or electronic delivery. See our Text Message Policy and E-Consent page for details on how to opt in or out.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to break any law, submit information about another person without permission, interfere with the Site or its security, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or copy data from the Site by automated means.

Online application

Online requests are submitted through a secure third-party network. Requests may be reviewed by lenders in that network, who may verify your information and check your credit. Approval is not assured. Information you submit online is transmitted for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Site text, design, logos and other content belong to CC California Cash or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use, but you may not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission.

Limits on liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the extent California and federal law allow, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This does not limit any right you have under your written agreement or under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived. See also our Legal Disclaimer.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law. Any lawsuit about your use of the Site must be brought in the state or federal courts in California. Terms for disputes about a payday loan are those in your signed agreement.

If part of these terms is unenforceable

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest remains in effect.

Important information. CC California Cash is operated by Otane, Inc. and is licensed by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) pursuant to the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law. A California payday loan (deferred deposit transaction) is limited to a $300 check; the fee may not exceed 15% of the check ($45), so the most you can receive is $255. Example: a $255 advance with a $45 fee repaid in 14 days has an APR of 460.16%; the APR is higher for shorter terms and lower for longer terms. Payday loans are meant for short-term emergency needs, not long-term financial solutions. There are no rollovers or extensions, and you cannot be prosecuted for a returned check. Requests made online through our website form may be reviewed by lenders in a third-party network that set their own terms; approval is not guaranteed and lenders may verify your information and check your credit. To check a license or file a complaint, contact the DFPI at 1-866-275-2677.
