E-Consent

Effective date: November 2, 2026

What this consent covers

The federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) allows a lender to give you certain documents and sign agreements electronically if you agree. This page explains that choice for CC California Cash, operated by Otane, Inc. ("California Cash," "we," "us"). Your consent is voluntary. You can always ask to receive paper documents and complete your transaction in person at our Torrance store.

Records we may deliver electronically

  • Application information and disclosures
  • Payday loan agreements, payment schedules and related notices
  • Our Privacy Policy and privacy notices
  • Payment receipts, account notices and reminders
  • Adverse action and credit decision notices, where the law allows electronic delivery

Electronic signatures

If you agree, you may sign documents electronically by clicking, typing your name or another electronic method we provide. An electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one. Payday loans are completed at our Torrance store, where a written agreement and disclosures are given to you before you sign. You may sign on paper there instead.

How records may be delivered

Electronic records may be shown at the store on a screen or tablet, handed to you as a printout, or sent to a contact method you gave us. Text messages are governed separately by our Text Message Policy.

What you need

  • A device such as a computer, phone or tablet with internet access
  • A current web browser and a program that opens PDF files
  • A working phone number or other contact method that you check regularly
  • A way to save or print documents. If you cannot, ask us for paper copies.

If these requirements change in a way that could keep you from viewing your records, we will tell you and you may withdraw consent without charge.

Your right to paper copies

You may request a paper copy of any record at no charge, by phone or in person at our store. Asking for paper copies does not by itself withdraw your consent.

Withdrawing your consent

You may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time by calling or visiting our store. Withdrawal does not affect the validity of documents delivered or signed before we process it, and there is no fee. Withdrawing may delay or prevent us from completing a transaction that depends on electronic delivery; you can still complete it on paper in person.

Keeping your contact details current

Please tell us if your phone number, mailing address or other contact information changes so you continue to receive your records.

Your agreement

By agreeing to this consent, you confirm that you have read it, can access and keep electronic records as described, and understand your right to paper copies and to withdraw. Your consent to receive electronic records is not a condition of getting a payday loan or any other service.

At California Cash we are licensed under the State of California to provide payday loans at a regulated rate. Our fees follow California law and are disclosed in writing before you sign.

Licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation pursuant to the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law.

Important information. CC California Cash is operated by Otane, Inc. and is licensed by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) pursuant to the California Deferred Deposit Transaction Law. A California payday loan (deferred deposit transaction) is limited to a $300 check; the fee may not exceed 15% of the check ($45), so the most you can receive is $255. Example: a $255 advance with a $45 fee repaid in 14 days has an APR of 460.16%; the APR is higher for shorter terms and lower for longer terms. Payday loans are meant for short-term emergency needs, not long-term financial solutions. There are no rollovers or extensions, and you cannot be prosecuted for a returned check. Requests made online through our website form may be reviewed by lenders in a third-party network that set their own terms; approval is not guaranteed and lenders may verify your information and check your credit. To check a license or file a complaint, contact the DFPI at 1-866-275-2677.
